Refund policy
RETURNS:
Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be
- Expired
- Unopened/Damaged
- Incorrect Items; these items must be sealed and in the original packaging.
Unfortunately we cannot refund these items if these requirements are not met.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Items being returned based on any other reason, other than the ones listed. Such customer will have to pay for the cost of the shipment of the goods to Africa Organics.
REFUND:
Once the returned goods are received and inspected, an email will be sent to notify the customer on the approval or rejection of the refund.
If the refund is approved, a refund will be made into the bank account of the customer, for the item/items of which was returned. If the refund is declined, an email will be sent to the customer, notifying them with reason to why.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
DAMAGED GOODS:
Africa Organics will not be liable for any goods damaged during the delivery period. All damaged goods will be investigated.
When a product is damaged, it needs to be notified to Africa Organics, with images of the products damaged. This has to be done within 24 hours prior to receiving the goods.
There after Africa Organics will submit a complaint to the courier company, where they will further investigate the complaint.
It cannot be stated on the time at which this matter will be resolved, however it will be handled with extreme urgency.
Once the complaint has been processed and approved by the courier company, a refund for the value of the goods that are damaged will be paid to the customer.
Goods have to be damaged to a state that it is not usable. This states that the contents have been exposed to air and no longer contained within its own packaging.
REPLACEMENT:
No goods will be replaced however refunded for the above mentioned on returns.
GIFT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Gift Cards are redeemable solely for purchases in South Africa at www.africaorganics.co.za.
Lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards will not be cancelled and replaced without the required proof of purchase. Contact Africa Organics at hello@africaorganics.co.za for details.
Recipients of Gift Cards who wish to shop online and ship products to South Africa must shop on the South African site. No purchases made on the EU or UK site will be shipped to South Africa.
Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash. If the value of your Gift Card is greater than the amount of your total purchase, you will be able to use the remaining Gift Card balance for future purchases, subject to these terms and conditions.
If the value of your Gift Card is less than the amount of your total AfricaOrganics.co.za Order purchase, you must use a credit card to complete your purchase. If the value of your Gift Card is less than the amount of your total Africa Organics online store purchase, you must provide an additional payment method accepted to complete your purchase.
Purchase or use of any Africa Organics Gift Card means you accept these terms and conditions. Any term of this Gift Card purchase agreement deemed unenforceable shall be severable and the remaining terms enforced.
South African law shall govern the Gift Card program, without regard to principles of conflicts of law and as if this Gift Card purchase agreement were a contract wholly entered into and wholly performed within the Republic of South Africa.
Any dispute arising from or relating to the Gift Card program shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in South Africa. Arbitration shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the South African Arbitration Association. The arbitrator’s award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Gift Card purchase agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Gift Card purchase agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
MERCHANDISE CREDIT TERMS:
This is a merchandise return credit. Merchandise return credits issued by Africa Organics are redeemable solely for purchases in South Africa at www.africaorganics.co.za. Lost, stolen, used or damaged cards will not be cancelled or replaced. Merchandise return credits cannot be used to purchase gift cards. Contact Africa Organics at hello@africaorganics.co.za for details. The card not redeemable for cash. No resale. Use of card constitutes acceptance of terms. Card terms and conditions are subject to change without notice, and some items may not be available. Any term of this card program deemed unenforceable shall be severable and the remaining terms enforced. South African law shall govern cards issued or used in South Africa. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
